Sometimes it’s one little detail that changes EVERYTHING.
I just made this one-of-a-kind KOME jacket from wonderfully soft purple boiled wool — simple, relaxed and easy to wear.
And then I added the part that makes my heart happy…
A cascading ruffle of hand-dyed silk, tumbling down the front in glorious shades of hot pink, orange, touches of yellow, green and violet.
I especially love the contrast — the warmth and texture of the boiled wool against that light, fluid, colourful silk. And those softly flared double cuffs add just a little more movement.
Wear it with jeans and a T-shirt and let the colour do the rest.
One only. Made individually by me in my North Vancouver studio. Once it’s gone, there won’t be another exactly like it.
