This one-of-a-kind capelet is made from vibrant lime wool and finished with a soft patchwork trim created from reclaimed quilt textiles. The piece is designed to drape comfortably over the shoulders, creating a sculptural silhouette while remaining lightweight and easy to wear. It can also be worn buttoned at the shoulder creating a V shape in front AND can also be worn over the hips for a different dramatic effect.
The contrast between the bright wool and the soft pastel quilt fabrics gives the garment a unique balance of bold color and quiet texture. A single vintage-style button closure adds a simple finishing detail.
Each piece I make is entirely individual, combining traditional textile techniques with contemporary design.
